Life As We Know It

Go Wolfpack!

Everything we've known to this point has changed. Our life now consists of dirty diapers, late night feedings and cuddle time with the cutest little boy ever! Lincoln was in the hospital for over a month, so we were almost spoiled by having someone else take care of him for us. But now we are glad to be experiencing all of this on our own!

Last night was Lincoln's first night at home, and it was a rough one. I hope that a lot of his fussiness was due to being in a strange place, so maybe tonight will be a little better. It's definitely going to take some getting used to for all of us! Tomorrow he has a pediatrician appointment so we'll get an update on his weight and find out how he has been doing with his feedings at home. We'll also be working on getting him back on his 3-6-9-12 feeding schedule since he's managed to get off of it last night.

  1. I can not for the life believe how much this little man has grown. The Pictures are fantastic, he is the cutest baby in the world. And believe me when I say this it is not because he is my grandson. When I looked at him for the first time only a couple of hours after he entered this world, I knew that he was going to be something special. I cry every time I see photos of him. But it is only 19 more days until I get to hold him. As for the sleepless nights they too will pass and not before he turns 18. You need to stimulate him while he is awake, encourage him to stay awake, and don't let everyone hold him all of the time. When you hold them all day then they lose that since of security at night when they are all alone in their own bed. Just take a deep breath and relax, you are doing great, you are a terrific Mom. They should give you a reality show based on all that you and Andrew have endured in the past year. It could be called."How the economy and our Government have changed our lives". Feel free to run this by Tori. Love to you all, Mom and Nana
